Yoga
is
the
oldest known science of self
development. Hatha yoga is a system of exercise and breathing
used to achieve physical harmony and well being. Yoga
improves concentration, suppleness, strength and stamina while inviting
awareness and
understanding of our minds, bodies and actions. Focus,
visualization and self
understanding
can help train the mind for competition and to improve
confidence and focus.
Pilates is an
approach to
exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the 20th Century.
Pilates
improves core strength, stability, posture and joint mobility. The
method is particularly useful in injury rehabilitation. It
corrects
inefficient movement patterns and muscle imbalances and provides a
wonderful compliment to yoga, dance and all sports.
